Kay Ashton has been a Non-Executive and Independent Director of Luxempart since 2020. She chairs the Audit, Compliance and Risk Committee.
In 1992, Kay moved to Silverfleet Capital, a leading European private equity firm, becoming a partner in 1996. She was responsible for some of the firm’s most successful investments in a variety of sectors including leisure and business services. Kay also served as deputy chairwoman of the investment committee for 14 years.
In 1989, Kay Ashton began her career in private equity with NatWest Ventures (now Bridgepoint). After graduating, Kay joined the London office of PwC where she trained as a Chartered Accountant.
Kay Ashton read Natural Sciences at Jesus College, Cambridge University.
